People and Businesses
These are people and businesses I trust, respect, or have had good experiences working with. I don’t recommend someone simply because I know them. If they’re listed here, I’d be comfortable recommending them to a friend.
MacLean Law Office
Daryl and Andrea MacLean helped Kerrie and me with our estate planning and wills. I already knew and trusted them personally, but after working with them, I’d recommend them based on the experience alone.
Estate planning isn’t something most of us do often. They explained things clearly, thought of issues we wouldn’t have considered, and helped us understand what should and shouldn’t be included in a will. They were considerate of the fact that something routine to them was completely unfamiliar to us.
I have access to services that would allow me to have a will prepared for free. I’d rather pay the MacLeans.
Scalable Care
I’ve known John for more than 25 years. We’ve worked together at three companies he’s owned and at least two others. That’s given me plenty of opportunity to see both the quality of the man and the quality of his work. Both are second to none.
Scalable.care helps researchers and healthcare providers turn evidence-based ideas into digital tools that can be tested, implemented, and scaled. I’m neither a customer nor the target audience, so my recommendation isn’t based on using the product myself.
It’s based on knowing John.
I’ve watched him approach businesses the same way for more than two decades: find an unserved or underserved need, build something genuinely good to address it, and make sure the customer receives real value. Serve first. Build the business around doing that well.
That’s the approach he’s bringing to scalable.care, and that’s why I’m comfortable recommending it.
